Your photos

Photos you open in the tool are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to our server and we never see them.

What we collect, and why

• Your email address and purchase details, received from Paddle after you buy. We use them to create your license key, email it to you, give you support, and switch off the key after a refund or chargeback. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
• Your license key and device records. When you open the tool we store a random identifier for each device that uses your key, to enforce the device limit. This identifier is not linked to your name.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address to serve the site. We briefly count requests per IP address to slow down key guessing. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

Browser storage

The site stores a session token and a random device identifier in your browser's local storage so that you stay signed in with your key. We don't set tracking cookies.

Who else handles your data

• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We never receive your card number.
• Resend sends your license key email.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores license records.

These providers may process data outside your country. We don't sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep license records for as long as your license exists, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records of a sale. You can ask us to delete your data earlier, which also ends your license.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy. Write to info@chrisvantwiskphotography.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
